FRANKLIN ROTARY CLUB BULLETIN
Week of February 17
PRESIDENT’S NOTE
Service continues to be the heartbeat of Franklin Rotary, and this past week was a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together with purpose and compassion. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up, support our projects, and represent Rotary so well in our community.
CLUB UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
VALENTINE’S DAY SERVICE PROJECT – CARING PLACE
On Friday, Rotary members and a special helper delivered 130 Valentine’s Day goodie bags to the residents of the Caring Place. The residents truly appreciated the thoughtful treats, and it was a wonderful way to spread a little extra love this season.
We had a great turnout of helpers and made quick work of the project thanks to the many hands involved. Special thanks to Michelle, Cinda, Jerry, Donna, and Deb W. for helping assemble and support this meaningful service effort. Your time and generosity made a real impact.
REGULAR CLUB MEETING
We look forward to another productive and engaging meeting this week as we continue planning upcoming service projects, events, and community initiatives. Your attendance and participation help keep our club strong and impactful.
Come listen to Dr. Dan give a special presentation on a very riveting topic!
LOOKING AHEAD
ROTARY NETWORKING & CULTURE EVENT – UPDATE
The February 19 Networking and Club Culture Event that was scheduled with District Governor Aaron Sines has been cancelled due to lack of interest. We appreciate those who were planning to attend and will look for future opportunities to connect across clubs in a way that best fits our members’ schedules and availability.
PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE OF FRANKLIN ROTARY
The Board has continued conversations around succession planning to ensure the long-term strength and leadership of our club. Franklin Rotary thrives when members step up, share ideas, and support one another.
We encourage members to consider taking on a leadership role, specifically Vice President and Secretary. If you are interested in serving as President and are not currently on the Board, please contact Wendy Richardson to discuss a plan of action.
More information and opportunities to engage will be shared as these conversations continue.
