Our first Club meeting of the new Rotary year included an informative and heartfelt presentation from our very own Kim Slater Heil to update us on the VNA Foundation Collins Hospice House. Although they refer to it as a house, it is more like a home, a home away from home for those needing quality end of life hospice care. A key takeaway from her presentation, "hospice isn't scary, it is learning to live with something you can't fix, for as long as you live." Thank you Kim and everyone at the Collins House. You all exemplify "service above self."
Club Business: *Due to scheduling conflicts, the Board meeting date has been moved to Wed. July 14th.
*District Governor Rick Tote will visit Franklin Rotary Club on Tuesday July 20th. Please plan to attend, show your club support and get to
know the new District Governor.

With the unfortunate resignation of our Club President, the Board is accepting nominations and will be holding a SPECIAL ELECTION at our next Regular Club Meeting this Tuesday, August 16, 2022 to fill the Club President vacancy and any other open Club Officer positions. Nominations can be sent to Deb, Immediate Past President in advance or stated vocally at our Tuesday meeting.
