CLUB UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
THANK YOU – DOG PARK COMMITTEE
Thank you to the Dog Park Committee for hosting an incredible event at Dawndi’s in support of the Franklin Community Dog Park. While we are still awaiting final numbers, the event was extremely well attended and is shaping up to be a great fundraiser.
We are also excited to share that the restaurant has expressed interest in partnering with us this spring to host a golf outing benefiting the Dog Park. We look forward to developing those plans together in the coming months.
COMING UP THIS WEEK
FEBRUARY 10 MEETING – SERVICE PROJECT
At our February 10 meeting, we will be packaging Valentine’s Day bags for the Caring Place. Please plan to come early or stay after to help us prepare this special treat for the residents — many hands make light (and joyful!) work.
We are still collecting contributions toward this project. If you would like to help support the Valentine’s Day bags, please reach out or bring your donation to the meeting. Thank you for helping us spread a little extra love this Valentine’s season.
LOOKING AHEAD
ROTARY NETWORKING & CULTURE EVENT
📅 February 19
🕕 6:00 PM
📍 Cork & Screw – Oil City
Please join us as we welcome District Governor Aaron Sines for a Networking and Culture Event, held in conjunction with the Oil City and Titusville Rotary Clubs.
This is a great opportunity to connect across clubs, strengthen relationships, and learn and grow together in Rotary. We strongly encourage all members to make an effort to attend.
PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE OF FRANKLIN ROTARY
The Board has continued conversations around succession planning to ensure the long-term strength and leadership of our club. Franklin Rotary thrives when members step up, share ideas, and support one another.
We encourage members to consider taking on a leadership role, specifically Vice President and Secretary. If you are interested in serving as President and are not currently on the Board, please contact Wendy Richardson to discuss a plan of action.
More information and opportunities to engage will be shared as these conversations continue.
