Game Warden Kopec and Lane Potts botanist from the Wildlife Futures Program offered a very informative and interesting program this week on the Songbird Illness. If you would like a copy of their PowerPoint presentation please let me know.
"Protecting the Environment" is a new area of focus for Rotary International. On our local level, we are now aware of ways in which we can help to prevent the spread of the Songbird Illness, doing our part to protect/support the environment.
NEW LUNCH MEETING LOCATION: Next week, for the July 20th member meeting we will meet in Buffalo Street Lanes at 1244 Buffalo St. There is ample parking, an open seating area, technology is available for guest speakers and more. We appreciate Ryan and Jess Rudegeair offering this location for club meetings.
Rick Tote, District Governor will be our guest speaker at the July 20th meeting. Please make plans to attend this important meeting. We will learn what is planned on a District 7280 level and we will share with DG Tote all the goodwill Franklin Rotary Club has to offer.
