It has been a busy week in Rotary with the 2024 Rotary Zone Summit held in our backyard, Pittsburgh, PA. During this summit, our Rotary International President, Stephanie Urchick was presented by the City of Pittsburgh a proclimation that Saturday October 25, 2024 is proclaimed as Rotary International Day in the City of Pittsburgh! Our District Governor, Zach was there to present her as well as the city representative! Very cool to witness!
This Tuesday, October 29, 2024, we will meet in our regular meeting location and we have Deb Sobina from the Oil Region Alliance speaking to us as part of the October Rotary Economic and Development Speaker Series.
I hope everyone is feeling well and is able to join us for the meeting. Again, if you are not feeling well, please consider joining us via zoom. Also, let's be conscious about checking in with our members this time of year. With illnesses, being stuck in the house, and less interaction, check in with one another. Text, call or send a letter.
We have scheduled our Rotary / Kiwanis Thanksgiving joint lunch for November 19th, 2024 in the ballroom of the Elks club, please mark your calendar to be sure to join us for that event!
