I apologize for my absence at this past weeks meeting. Thank you to DG Zach for stepping in to run the meeting for, and for saving the 50/50 WIN for when I would be present! :)
This Tuesday, July 30, 2024, I hope you will join us, as we welcome Mary Jane Verhoff and Sara Watson from Venango County Early Head Start. These ladies will be the conclusion of our July Maternal and Child Health Series. I hope you all found value in the speakers that joined us and we are able to reference their services if a need develops.
We also will have Jada Reavis and Abby Boland joining our meeting. The ladies were this years Franklin Rotary representatives at RYLA that was hosted at Westminster College. They will give us the recap of the program, and look forward to helping us recruit our students for next years event.

What a cool experience to meet with our Rotary International President, Stephanie Urchick at this past weeks Tuesday Pirates game. District 7305 hosted a fantastic tailgate party catered by PDG John Marshall Catering. We got to see lots of fellow members from many different districts and enjoy the game after RIP Stephanie threw out the first pitch (under hand)! It was a great opportunity, and we all enjoyed a great time!
Remember to register for our District Membership Celebration Picnic on August 4th at 2 Mile Run, County Park! Register with the link in your email from District 7280 Learning Facilitator, Jessica Zacherl.
Our club's first Membership Mingle will be held on July 31st at Trails to Ales from 6-9 pm. Please wear a Rotary Shirt and come visit with our awesome members!
Mark your calendar for the August 18th Community Helping Day to volunteer you TIME at the Sandycreek Playground Refresh Project. Phase 1 of the project is complete, and we have started with Phase 2 with a complete equipment and concrete powerwash by Mark Baughman! He was so kind to donate him time, equipment and cleaning product to help us out!
Phase 2 will be completed on August 18th with painting, staining, installation of new accessories and some replacements of equipment. Come help!
